Edward Kenway by KynnBF Edward Kenway by KynnBF
A pirate trained by assassins.
I think Edward seemed slightly with Ezio (personality),
but I'll keep preferring the saga of Ezio.

Agreed. Ezio will always be my favorite but I love Edward already! Edward seems to have a similar personnality on some aspects (with young Ezio anyway, over time he got wiser) but Edward really seems like a careless, bold, and impulsive man.

I don't have a real opinion about Edward now,
but I think the real brotherhood is ended with Ezio,
based in the AC3, Connor is not a true Assassin, his father too,
and his grandfather (Edward) was trained by Assassins,
but this don't make him an Assassin too. Well, is better wait for the game.

Of course, we must wait to play to game to make an opinion.

I don't think the Brotherhood ended with Ezio. Actually, the Assassins remained relatively powerful until 1763. During that year (before Connor met Achilles) the Assassins faced mass extermination throughout the entire world. There were very few survivors. Achilles was one of the very few to survive (his family didn't make it through, though). That's why during Desmond's era, the Assassins are in so small numbers and are not an organized institutions like they were during Ezio's time (which probably was the Assassin's Golden Age)
Connor was trained by an Assassin to become an Assassin. He IS an Assassin, in my opinion, it's just that there was no real Brotherhood to take him in since they were almost all exterminated. But he's an Assassin none the less.

We can't know for sure yet, but it looks to me like Edward was a pirate for the biggest part of his life. We know when and how he died but when don't know which year he was born so we can't know how old he was when he died. To me, it looks like Edward ended up fighting for the Assassin cause (freedom, etc...) but did not care for rules (he's a pirate after all) so he did not necessarly respect the three rules of the Assassins. At least not for the biggest part of his life.

Well, I think the game don't give more the real importance to the brotherhood like before with Ezio, for me the brotherhood is a little lost, I don't know exactly why, maybe for AC3 is just focused on the Industrial Revolution and revenge (Charles Lee).
What more make me be fascinated with the Ezio's saga, is the search for the Piece Of Eden, Subject 16 and things about this. I miss.
But! We just need waiting for the new game and know what the brotherhood brings back, maybe nothing or maybe something new.
